It is a great honor and pleasure to announce that our live online course Become a certified virtual tour guide has been endorsed by World Federation Of tourist Guides Associations (WFTGA) that is at the same time official partner of United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) and affiliate member of United Nations World Tourism Organization (UNWTO).

The aim of the course is to empower tourist guides around the globe with most up to date knowledge, that helps the profession of tourist guide in these challenging times. Virtual tour guides are a great and best example, that the essence of the profession of tourist guides is not moving people from point A to point B (traveling) and needs to be greatly interrupted by non-traveling. On the contrary, virtual tour guides are proving times and again, that the essence of tourist guides profession is and stays sharing stories, educating people about world heritage, connecting different cultures, creating meaningful connections and partnership, fostering peaceful just and inclusive societies and last but not least,supporting sustainable tourism and accelerating local development. 

So far, we have delivered the training in 65+ countries where devoted virtual tourist guides are on the mission to take the profession of the tourist guide to the next level and position it as an essential part of tourism industry also in the new era where the world goes virtual.

As dr. Taleb Rafai, ex secretary general of UNWTO now chairman of IIPT (International Institute for peace through tourism) at Arabian Travel Market 2020 that took place virtually stated: "The future is virtual." And tourist guides are ready to make this step.
